March 2006: Rainbow invests in Orbital Optics Ltd, providing low cost, high resolution satellite imaging...

Rainbow made its first investment of 2006 in Orbital Optics, who design and build leading edge, low cost, high resolution imagers for space. Working closely with the Space Science and Technology Department of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, cameras will be designed and built to meet customer requirements from around the world. The initial products cover a range of resolutions from 1metre to 10metre.
